This event went rally well. We had almost capacity, nearly 60 people in a yoga studio with people on back jacks, cushions, chairs, older people as well as young people, very cool to see the age mixture. I really got facebook connections going in Ojai, especially after meeting some folks at Ecotopia in Ojai a couple weeks before. And the cosponsorships thing has been working really well... having people spread the word, they get a link on our site and a free ticket. Cannot depend on the regular media. In fact almost all of the regular media wants us event folks to post on their sites!! hahha
Gunnar and I spoke to/with the crowd about evolver, aya, peru, illegality, churches, Dieta, mystery schools, etc...

Occasionally I send this notice to all the 3,000+ people who have signed up on our more than 25 listservs. The focus of this post is to simply let you know the activities of the site. We are adding material daily/weekly... and this post is a simple snapshop of the highlights. The site is made up of categories:
Food, Energy, Awakenings, Transportation, Happiness, Housing, Soul, Money and Latest News. (they are all accessible from the home page at: http://www.hopedance.org/)
But before I get into all the details I simply want to alert you to a very successful tour of films, talks and laughter yoga sessions throughout northern ca (from July 5 to the 23, 2011). You can read all about the films, the orgs, the number of people who attended, the discussions and the films that were shown: http://www.hopedance.org/other-news/2030. Since it was very successful, 15 gigs in 18 days, I plan on taking the tour to southern ca as well. If you have any ideas, venues, orgs that would be interested please let me know. I sense that many of us are feeling SHiFTS all over, whether they are externally caused or welling up from internal unravelings... its all the same. My "job" or livelihood or gift that I share with you is to navigate and document important news and insights that can assist in this new world that is unraveling / emerging / unfolding...
