Even though this is specifically about the Transition movement around the globe, this is a very good film; a totally upbeat and positive film that speaks to the realities of community organizing as well as the very cool projects that we rarely see in our every day media diet. This film is ONE of the many reasons I screen films. Hope you can make it and hope you can invite others and hope you can dialogue and be involved in the conversation after the film. Sometimes thats the best part, to see who is in our neck of the woods doing cool things!!

Curried spiced lentils, multi-colored quinoa with brussel sprouts, beets and garlic, red and green lettuce with sauteed fennel and blanched onions, meatballs, dessert to be sauteed plantains with honey... a meal before the film. Price $10-$15 for both film and dinner!!! Jaime has been cooking meals for many of the Granges for unknown years. According to his bio online: Jaime has assisted chefs with recipes and menus at a variety of locations. Mr. Harris was a broker for produce and livestock for many years after he came to the USA (form Argentine), and is very knowledgeable of all aspects of both businesses. He has had a persistent interest and passion for enabling the niche meat market to thrive, and has consistently worked to enable individuals and local business to access the services within the market.
