. A special guest Bruce Severance will be answering questions after the
film. He was the senior designer on numerous electric vehicle
development projects in the 90s.
On Friday, Feb 16 we are screening Why We Fight. Our film editor has reviewed that film in the current issue. Click here .
We are mailing out “coupons” to help encourage people to rent the HopeDance FiLMs from the HD FiLM Library located at the Novel Experience Bookstore at 779 Higuera in SLO (or you can rent them from us via the mail service).
Also we will be celebrating the new / current issue with a pot luck party at Caffe Luna’s, 1804 Osos St. in SLO on February 17, Saturday from 3-6pm. Please don’t bring desserts or drinks since those will be available and for sale at the caffe. The party is open to all volunteers, readers, editors, proofreaders, distributors, cartoonists, reviewers, advertisers.... At 5pm we will circle around to speak about all your projects.
And don’t forget about the free screening of An Inconvenient Truth with a panel of SLO’s Mayor Dave Romero, Sierra Club’s Karen Merriam, APCD’s Larry Allen and SLO Regional Rideshare’s Lisa Quinn moderated by Guy Rathbun from KCBX. It is on Saturday 6:30pm, Feb. 24th. And the next day, Paul Hawken’s filmed speech from Bioneers with a pot luck to continue the discussion.
