The Book of Love and Creation: A Channeled Text

I received an uncorrected proof of this book back in June sometime. It's rare that I review let alone read uncorrected proofs especially those that I don't request, like this one. However, as I browsed through the pages I realized/felt a resonance immediately. As I was thumbing through to different passages, I knew right away that this was a book for me to read and to feel… and it might answer so many questions that were rumbling through my mind about so many shifts that were happening spontaneously to people, including myself. Even though I was excited from what I read through my browsing, I had enough discipline to go back to the beginning and start from the beginning. I can tell you right now that for some odd reason this book has been the most dog-eared, full of highlights and asterisks and even references to specific page numbers that I noted in the back of the book.
The book is referred to as a "channeled text" and it seems these days that's all I'm interested in reading. Not only to answer the deeper questions but it seems that humans simply don't do a good enough job of either explaining this shift that we are in or they/us can often be tainted by ambition, or personal motivation that typically gets in the way of the truth. As well as some of our assumptions that are so deeply ingrained in us humans that we/I need almost alien voices that can catapult us out of these assumptions, giving clarity to some other possibilities of not only who we are but what we can become. Certain channel entities like Marshall Vian Summers/allies for humanity, Darryl Anka/Bashar, Marcia Schaeffer/with alien contacts, and now Paul Selig / collective entities. The material resonates with me; that word "resonate" seems to becoming more popular and what it means to me is that an intellectual understanding is quite limited. This resonance seems to come from not only the mind but from the heart/soul area where “knowing” resides in the heart. And if the shift is saying anything of substance and value it happens to be coming from those people (and I'm sure there are more and will probably be even more especially as the wall, the barrier between the two worlds becomes thinner.) It seems that they, these entities or spirits coming through individual humans, come for a while, do their thing and then move on. A rare case is of Chico Xavier of Brazil who automatically wrote/transcribed over 400 books of a spiritual nature that included 3 to 4 various spirits who were transmitting through him.
And some of the major points in the Book of Love book it is not just new age material, like the “law of attraction.” That particular law is included in this book only to critique it because the authors say it's time to move beyond that specific law and ask why are we intending certain attractions; and rather just get stuff that you want, the book requires that we question why! Is it just for the ego or are you/we wanting to truly be of service for all of us?
The book has been released now, late September (as of this writing) and requires us to participate in the shifts that are upon us, not just accepting principles for principle sake but to change ourselves and evolve. Fundamentally, they're saying that we are slaves to our conditioning and we need to do lots of work to not only decondition ourselves but ask the questions why would we be drawn to accept our slavery? What are we getting out of the equation? And part of this is this notion and most radical notion, that our lack of self-love, a seemingly inherent unworthiness comes from the souce of lack of self-love. Not surprisingly because the book is called the Book of Love one of the reasons we humans want “power” in the traditional sense of that word is to make up for the unworthiness that we feel. And to protect a core aspect upon the world stage, the authors say that we are creating our own cataclysm to actually teach us to love. But of course this book is an “interference” on this plane at this time so we wake up en masse, so we don't have to have major catastrophes… I will be adding quotes below to complement this brief review.
They speak of honesty in relationships is so core. They speak of our values and to determine through self reflection what we really value and keep that in our lives.
One key component of this radical teaching published by a major publishing house (Penguin/Tarcher) is the aspect of who are we really. They make reference to the Creation and that we all are part of this universal creation (thus the title) and that each of us needs to be love and express what we need to be doing in this life and it is our purpose and destiny to simply love since we are all part of this Creation. The reason we judge or kill or put people in categories is because we have been under the spell of separation. We believe we are separate and the more separate we believe we are, the more we are controllable. This coincides with the radical teaching of many spiritual masters such as Adyashanti who speaks about “separation is an illusion”. For me this book, or collection of a 30 day workshop is a devastatingly important work, coming at a time when it is so vital.
These types of books are showing us ways out of our suffering since it also professes that suffering is not only optional but we are somehow preferring suffering because that's what we “believe” in. See how radical this is! If you were strongly with the belief that states suffering is a matter of fact, we really ought to question it and to question our assumptions that we have been living under. If you don't think it's possible then it might be also necessary to question that assumption as well. It appears that a major core of these shifts that are occurring is to actually delve deeper into what are these core ideas that we have accepted and to explore them, to viscerally disentangle ourselves from them...
I lived with this book for 6 weeks, doing the assignments, answering questions, taking notes, highlighting various paragraphs with asterisks… and it strikes a chord throughout my entire being.
