Informally, I asked people on various listservs what media sources they use to get their daily news as well as good websites to share with others. Here is a brief report:

NY Times, SF Chronicle, LATimes, Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Mother Jones, NPR and PBS, C-Span 2 at 7AM, Z Magazine, emails from various listservs, Counterspin and Alternative Radio on KCBX, “Washington Journal” on TV cable at 7AM, KPFA-FM via their Shoutcast stream using Winamp on Win98 SE and XMMS on Linux, FPFA - FM is available from Fresno. 88.1, Amy Goodman KCSB 91.9FM 4-5PM in Nipomo, Caucus and HopeDance listservs.

www.indymedia.org — for news around the globe that you will not see in your daily newspapers.

www.kpfk.org — radio shows that are really alternative and an archive system that is very cool.

www.legitgov.org — a plethora of radical causes that are a bit fringe, 9-11 investigations, Bush’s coup detat, Greg Palast’s link.

www.truthout.com — a compiltion of the most current political news that is rare to get. features the work of author professor researcher William Pitt and others. These reports are from mainstream sources of information, i.e. Guardian in the UK.

www.iraqpeaceteam.org — see letters from Baghdad in this issue.

www.votetoimpeach.org — Vote to Impeach Bush - Articles Of Impeachment, Drafted by Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark.
